I have uploaded or FTP'd my web data but the site still displays a Red Rook page. Why?

If you have just uploaded (FTP) your web site data, there are several things to check:

A. Make certain you have uploaded the files to the remote directory mainwebsite_html.

B. If the file index.html exists, or if you have NOT uploaded / overwritten it, delete it. (By default, index.html pages will override index.htm or index.php page.)

C. If you still have problems, try reloading / refreshing your web browser by holding down the CONTROL key and hitting the REFRESH button on the browser, when you are on your website. If that still has no effect it would also be worth deleting all temporary cache files for your web browser. For Internet Explorer do the following:
From the Tools Menu select Internet Options and then click Delete Files.

D. If you still have problems, lodge a Tech Support Request and we will help you sort out the problem.
