Setting up your POP Email Account in Outlook Express ( Click for Existing Accounts )

Select the Accounts Option from the Tools menu.


If you are setting up a NEW account, click the 'Add Mail' option on the right. If your POP email account exists already you may like to follow these steps to alter or check the settings.

Enter in a name to Display When you send your emails.

Enter your email address that those receiving your emails can reply to.


Type in your POP 3 Mail Server name. It will be along the lines of mail.mydomain.com (substitute 'mydomain' with your real domain name). Your SMTP server will be information provided to you by your dialup ISP.


Enter your Account Name. This is your Login name or Username for that POP email account.
Enter in your Password for that Username.


Click Finish! You have now setup your POP email account and can test that all is working well by clicking the 'Send/Recv' button.
